eccentric explaination
This is how the Bike Friday SatRDay MkII Tour has an adjustable
bottom bracket height. The rectangle is the cradle for the front
boom viewed from the side. It is attached to the lower part which
is a clamp around the internal eccentric piece. Depending on the
location of the eccentric hole in this piece, the height can change
by a max of 3". Actually the picture is a bit inaccurate because the
height of the cradle doesn't actually change 3", but the height of
the bottom bracket changes 3".
