Collecting data, coellescing ideas. So far, so good. Planning a "minimalist" model that utilizes insolation, geothermal heat transfer, perhaps a mixed bag of albedo and uppertropospheric transfer, but very basic, with the idea that polar mass has a clear thermal implication for the Earth System.
