Sorry for my mistake! This line is much more crushing! Alan can either interpose, which leads to mate in 2, or move his king to the corner square h8, which will allow the response Rc8, with an absolute pin on the queen, also mating after ..QxR QxQ or other moves losing to RxQ+ (mate unless he moves the g or h pawns)
