minneapolis downtown skyway map
being that this is _the_ coldest major (over 300K
city proper, over around 600K metro) city in the
entire united states (i am assuming anchorage
does not qualify as "major" by my definition) they
have this real interesting set up.. you can walk for blocks and blocks all over downtown, without ever going outside. we used it pretty often, as it was raining the first day.. umm.. but when it was sunny, the skyway had its drawbacks as the walkways' (elevated to around the second floor crossing the street between buildings) topological
