Pacific
Here you get an idea of what is going on in eurasia. USA and UK have been faithfully supplying CCCP and there have just been some maneuvers. For a long time hirohito had a standoff going looking eye to eye with stalin accross the Sinkiang (Sin)-Kazakastan (Kaz) border. hirohito is well stocked up with IC's in India (Ind), Burma (Bur), Manchuria (Man) and Kwangtung (Kwa)!! The utility of the Manchuria IC is seen here, as the emphasis for supply lines has been on IC's rather than trns. A few trns have been built, however, and those along with the original Jpn stock (not usually killed unless sacrificed) are enacting a northerin Indian Ocean supply line. Meanwhile, fighting in Siberia is somewhat kept to a minimum. In the current position, you actually see the farthest encroachment by the allies in some time, but this was thanks to a hirohito maneuver, pulling back to maximize a westward push. This will buy enough time for Manchuria to grow to position where though it might be possible to take, Hirohito will still be left with 3 nearby IC's to fight back, hence representing a deterrant. Without the Man IC (which by the way was built definitely after Ind and Bur (Bur was first in round 1) and possibly after Kwa, though Kwa might have been a touch overkill. By attacking via Per and Cau, hirohito can hope to land a 1-2 punch with hitler's eastern front, leaving stalin et al in a quivering ball.

this view i guess possibly shows my bias a bit. many axis players would consider it absurd to allow the german trn to live. hitler has madagascar! this certainly can be daft. on the other hand, perhaps there were more pressing engagements at the time, though i guess the allies must have had until round 3 (Syria (Syr) can be taken round 2, opening the Suez to rommel) but oh well.
