the Folly of Man
wanted to get one of the blight that man is. that's the town..
funny thing about that town, they had a big controversy over
some ethanol plant. it was really weird.. you know how ppl
have signs in their yards for candidates they back? well
horicon was filled with those signs.. but they were either
"ethanol no" or "ethanol yes" really really weird.. we went
down one block with like 5 no's and 4 yeses all intermixed
accross the street or something..
a real hotbed of environmentalist controversy..
you know.. to tell the truth.. sometimes those soap factories..
i dont' know.. i think californians would never stand for
that sort of thing.
but i think it gets hidden in cali way off the beatten path..
like when i road the freight trains to LA and texas.. weird
out in the middle of nowhere on a freight train.. only thing
there was a desert, or a mountain and the traintracks the
train and me.. but then.. BAM! suddenly a great big factory.
enuf to startle you.

gunnery range" saw some fighter jets zooming by.
reminds me of some soundgarten video i saw. ferget
which one.. went out into either the mojave desert or
nevada or somewhere snuck on a military place.. took
a pic of the "dont go here" sign or something.
