when were were taking these pix.. we were hurrying to get to the reception.. we may have made it to

oh yeah.. you can see the US-41 there.. that highway used to be the mainstay for us going from shawano or green bay to milwaukee.. if you look at a full map of wisconsin, you can see that it was stupid for ppl in green bay.. that's why they built the I-43 at some point maybe in the 1980's i think maybe late 70's that goes on the other side of
Lake Winnebago but from Shawano, you can take the state 55
south to around
kaukauna and if you follow that map west along the us 41 and then south you'll eventually make it to
Lomira which is where the wedding reception was all in all, geographically that probably makes the most sense to this day if you live in shawano and want to drive to milwaukee but it could be a tossup i guess.. definitely the way to get to Fond du Lac, though and that's what lara and i did.
