the dock

this is the tiny little lakefront for that hotel
we stayed at. we went out there and took a few
pix of the lake. i think i found that road you took us on..
from the north side of town where we took a pic
of the shawano sign before you cross the channel?
then you keep straight and make a right and end up
on airport road? the hotel we stayed at was just
when you get around that first bend.

irene used to always stop up at a bar somewhere just
slightly up the road there, that is i guess the
west shore of shawano lake.. marge balcatisis?
know who that is?

lara doesn't let me drink.. so we didn't go there.
had a cabernet at the ribs, though.

just to explain what's going on to ppl who don't live in northeastern wisconsin, you take that
Hhh airport road
up around the west shore.. well.. i think that
place is probably on the west shore of shawano
lake.. let me see..

yeah.. it's coming back to me.. see how the
Lake drive east west road hits the airport drive that is perpendicular to green bay street?

when you follow that north it hugs the lake for
a while, but then there is a bunch of land between
the road and the lake. this dock is somewhere
on that part of airport drive that hugs shawano lake.
