Boric acid - green!
Boric acid. ('Roach killing powder')

I'd tried this many months back, but I mixed it on the spot, and it didn't dissolve very well. The resulting milky liquid produced a mostly yellow flame, with tinges of green. Really not that impressive.

This time around, I dissolved it in a hot water bath beforehand, to saturation; the mixture started growing crystals when I put it in the fridge. The result was a much more satisfying green. Still alcohol-pale, not bright like strontium... but definitely green. Like most of the pictures, the camera doesn't do the colors justice.
