Melissa, despite her vegetarianism, was kind enough to research BBQs and discover that Tuscaloosa was home to the original Dreamland, one of the best southern BBQs in the country. We drove around Tuscaloosa for about an hour looking for it -- it was on a weird back road on the outskirts of town.
