The day before our big Machu Pichu hike, the group did a big outing together. We took a bus (a minivan) to Pisac and hiked up to the Pisac ruines. Christian's husband, Alan, joined us. He had lots to say about the ruins: his Fully Brightful Funding is paying for him to study Incan and pre-Incan ruins in this area of Peru.
