this was a big lunch at a famous delightful fancy restaurant in chateauneuf. what's it called, leanne, i forget? la bonne mer? leanne, ted, and jörg indulged in the three-course meal, while i, birdlike as i am, ate sparingly. i was also the Driver for our tour through the wine-rich region, and what fun is a multicourse meal without bottle of wine? ted and leanne shared a chateauneuf, and jörg had a beer. signatures in the gigantic guestbooks dated back to the 30's and earlier! it was hot hot hot, and leanne was pretty wild after this.
